Job Description
We are searching for substitute teachers to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. Hours vary by assignment and typically range between 7 and 7.5 hours per day.
Rate of pay is $180.00 per day.

We ask that teacher substitutes possess a valid Emergency Substitute Credential teaching credential or be currently enrolled in a teacher credentialing program. Candidates should be proficient in education technology and specifically have experience with Google Suite for Education (i.e. Gmail Drive Classroom Docs Sheets Slides Sites and Calendar) and Zoom.
At Pegasus we use an automated substitute notification system that sends alerts (based on your preference) via text call email and/or in-app notifications. We also have a dedicated Substitute Coordinator who works with our valued substitutes to match their availability and preferences to available jobs.

The school is situated in a park-like 14-acre setting in Huntington Beach with facilities that include a theater gymnasium art studios science and technology labs library and classrooms.
