DESCRIPTION

Le Centre de sant Saint-Boniface est un centre de sant communautaire qui offre des services bilingues la population dexpression franaise de Winnipeg et aux rsidents de Saint-Boniface et de Saint-Vital. Les programmes et services au Centre sont offerts par une quipe interdisciplinaire.

Sous la supervision gnrale du gestionnaire du Centre de sant et titre de membre dune quipe la personne travaille au sein de lquipe de soins de sant primaires et fonctionne de faon autonome. Elle est responsable de ladministration du point dinteraction primaire avec les infirmires et infirmiers du centre dappel. Elle soccupe du service de premire ligne et dirige par son exemple tout en initiant la rsolution de problmes.

RESPONSABILITS

Pratiquer loffre de services en fonction de lencadrement la mission la vision la philosophie les buts et objectifs les normes les valeurs les politiques et les procdures du Centre de sant et du centre dappel et dmontrer appuyer et interprter ces derniers pour lquipe.
Fonctionner de faon autonome.
Offrir des services en conformit avec la Loi sur les infirmires les directives de lOrdre des infirmires et des infirmiers du Manitoba ainsi quavec les lignes directrices du triage tlphonique de lAssociation des infirmires et infirmiers du Canada.
Dmontrer une comprhension des responsabilits juridiques et des pratiques de gestion de risque des services infirmiers tlphoniques et fonctionner en conformit avec celles-ci.
Participer lorientation et la formation continue afin de suivre lvolution de la pratique clinique des rglements des lois des progrs techniques et des pratiques de supervision du centre dappel.
Veiller ce que tous les appels reus les tches et les suivis soient traits en fonction des limites et des critres de rendement tablis.
tre la seconde personne ressource des clients en ce qui a trait la rsolution des problmes. Rsoudre les problmes lorsque cela est possible et transmettre les questions non rsolues la direction de Health Links-Info Sant.
valuer et documenter les plaintes des clients et faire les recommandations appropries la direction sur la modification des processus ou du suivi avec les clients.
Participer la surveillance et lvaluation de la qualit et de lefficacit des services courants et soumettre des recommandations pour les services futurs selon linformation recueillie et les besoins justifis.
En collaboration avec le gestionnaire assurer la gestion des ressources humaines y compris les processus de recrutement dentrevue dembauche et dorientation du nouveau personnel de discipline et de cessation demploi des employs.
Prparer et prsenter des valuations de rendement des infirmires et infirmiers du centre dappel.
Prparer la documentation ncessaire pour toute mesure disciplinaire et signaler les mesures disciplinaires la direction.
Cerner les besoins ducatifs et les possibilits dapprentissage.

EXIGENCES

Baccalaurat en sciences infirmires.
Certificat de comptence professionnelle dcern par lOrdre des infirmires et des infirmiers du Manitoba
Un trois ans dexprience rcente dans le triage tlphonique.
Trois cinq ans dexprience clinique.
Formation lintervention en situation de crise
Exprience en soins durgence ou en sant communautaire (atout).
Excellente connaissance du franais et de langlais parls et crits.
Aptitude travailler efficacement en franais au sein dune quipe.
Connaissance approfondie de la promotion de la sant des concepts de dveloppement communautaire et de lvaluation de programmes
Exprience en ducation en assistance professionnelle et en gestion du rendement.

DESCRIPTION

Centre de sant Saint-Boniface is a community health centre that provides bilingual services to Winnipegs French-speaking population and St. Boniface and St. Vital residents. Programs and services at the Centre are provided by an interdisciplinary team.

Under the general supervision of the manager for the Centre de sant and as a member of a team works within the primary care team and functions autonomously. Is responsible for the administration of the primary interaction point with the call centre nurses. Takes care of first-line service and guides by example while initiating problem solving.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide services in keeping with the framework mission vision philosophy goals and objectives standards values policies and procedures of the Centre de sant and the call centre and demonstrate support and interpret them for the team.
Functions autonomously.
Offer services in keeping with the Registered Nurses Act the instructions of the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba as well as the guidelines issued by the by the Canadian Nurses Association concerning telephone triage.
Demonstrate an understanding of the legal responsibilities and risk management practices of telephone nursing services and function in keeping with them.
Take part in orientation and ongoing training so as to track developments in clinical practice regulations laws technical progress and call centre supervisor practices.
Make sure that call centre nurses are aware of performance expectations resources and changes in operations.
Be the second resource person for clients with respect to solving problems. Resolve problems when that is possible and forward unresolved issues to Health Links-Info Sant management.
Evaluate and document client complaints and make appropriate recommendations to management with respect to modifying processes or follow-up with clients.
Take part in supervising and evaluating the quality and efficiency of daily services and submit recommendations for future services based on the information gathered and the needs justified
In cooperation with the program and operations manager ensure the management of human resources including recruiting interviewing hiring and orienting new personnel disciplining and terminating employees.
Prepare and present performance evaluations for call centre nurses.
Prepare the necessary documentation for any disciplinary measure and inform management about disciplinary measures.
Identify education needs and learning possibilities.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Nursing degree
Certificate of competence issued by the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
One to three years of recent experience in telephone triage
Three to five years of clinical experience
Training in crisis intervention.
Experience in emergency care or community health (an asset).
Have an excellent knowledge of French and English both oral and written.
Be able to work efficiently in French within a team.
Have thorough knowledge of health promotion concepts of community development and program evaluation.
Experience in education professional assistance and performance management
Any other appropriate combination of education and experience will be examined.
