Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic

Heavy construction equipment dealer in Glendale AZ seeking experienced heavy equipment mechanics for service. We are a small family-owned non-union company with a big-company compensation and benefits package! We have locations throughout California Nevada and Arizona. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Service customer equipment in shop or at customers jobsite
• Capable of completing jobs at or under manufacturers published flat rate repair times
• Ability to plan work and complete route maintenance services without supervision
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
• Must be able to work under pressure independently and as a team player

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years experience maintaining/servicing heavy equipment
• Equipment dealership background ideal
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted
• Welding experience
• Hydraulic & electrical experience
• Mid-level diagnostic ability
• Ability to do repairs such as welding R & R of major components such as axles engines and transmissions
• Ability to perform repairs on components and attachments such as hammers and shears
• Engine certifications a plus
• Ability to understand instructions written and verbal
• Possess a clean and valid Class B drivers license recent K4 printout required
• Must be detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task
