Job Description
Our Family Birthplace is looking for an OB Tech! Come join our team!
This is a full-time evening/night position with rotating weekends - (3pm - 3am)
Evening Night and Weekend Differentials!
Position Summary:
- Assists in the nursing care of patients in the Family Birthplace.
- Assists in managing supplies and equipment in the unit with emphasis on cost effectiveness assuring that all outdated supplies are removed and replaced.
- Functions as a member of the sterile team in FBP OR by assisting surgical team as needed by creating and maintaining a sterile field and handing instruments to physicians.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma
- Completion of VVH Scrub Orientation within designated time frame.
- Register with Colorado DORA as a Surgical Tech (ST) prior to start date.
- BLS through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date.
- Experience as an OB Tech preferred.
- Will consider Surgical Tech for this position but not required.
