Job Summary

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supervising doctoral-level students coordinating psychological testing and ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise a team of six doctoral-level students providing regular feedback mentorship and guidance.
  2. Coordinate administer score and interpret a range of psychological tests and assessments.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop implement and evaluate individualized care plans.
  4. Provide individual and group therapy as required.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  6. Attend team meetings training sessions and participate in ongoing professional development.
  7. Ensure ethical and professional standards are met at all times.
  8. Provide 1-32 (Baker Act) second opinions and expert court testimony regarding involuntary hospitalization
Qualifications:
  • Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in Florida.
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-graduate clinical experience preferably within an inpatient psychiatric setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in psychological testing and assessment.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in student supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of current best practices in the field of psychology and psychiatric care.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and in a multidisciplinary team environment.
