Purpose (why the position exists):

Be part of a great team that jointly taking overall responsible for the customer outcomes on the services in scope. Core accountability for capacity scheduling terminal planning as well as coordination for the overall network with all relevant parties subject to specific positions to take in the team.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and execute vessel scheduling to meet proforma reliability and customer promise.

  • Monitor bookings and optimize vessel utilization in collaboration with Revenue Optimization Management Customer Service and Operation parties

  • Plan vessel berth with most optimal and economical way by improving port operation efficiency and reduce operational cost.

  • Manage vessel ETA to port and communicate short to long term schedule with related stakeholders. Support ships to fulfil planned port activities during port stay

  • Drive operational decision making that balances service delivery and PnL.

  • Engages with Network and Market to improve network stability and efficiency.

  • Identify and suggest continuous improvement initiatives

Who we are looking for

  • Problem-solving capability able to optimize and take initiatives

  • Strong sense of responsibility and urgency

  • Stakeholder engagement skills

  • Drive Results and focus on impact to customers. Initiate mitigation plan by collaborating others cross teams.

  • Communication skill is strongly required for both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Working experience in shipping industry or relevant position is preferred but not a prerequisite.
