Job Title: Cloud and Observability Leader

Location: Bangalore India

Job Summary:

As the Cloud and Observability Leader you will be responsible for developing and executing our cloud strategy while ensuring comprehensive observability across our systems. You will lead a team of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance reliability and scalability of our cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and observability specialists.
• Strategy Development: Define and execute the cloud strategy aligned with business objectives focusing on scalability reliability and cost-effectiveness.
• Observability Implementation: Establish and maintain observability practices to monitor measure and improve system performance and reliability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development operations and product teams to integrate observability into the software development lifecycle.
• Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend tools and technologies for cloud management and observability.
• Incident Management: Develop processes for incident response root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that cloud solutions meet security and compliance requirements.
• Transformation: Migrate Observability solution to SaaS based products

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
• Experience: 10 years of experience in cloud computing and observability with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) observability tools (Nagios Manage Engine site 24/7 Grafana SolarWinds and DevOps practices.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BE/BTech degree and 10 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
2 years of leadership experience
