You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailCGI is seeking an Application Data Architecture Consultant to contribute to strategic system modernization projects for a major government sector client in Montral.
The selected candidate will play a key role in data design and modeling drafting technical sections of business cases related to their area of expertise and delivering physical models particularly with Cosmos DB (NoSQL) and Dataverse (Power Platform).
- Design and model data (relational multidimensional and physical) according to project needs.
- Develop and maintain physical models for Cosmos DB and Dataverse.
- Design and optimize ETL processes (SSIS or other integration tools).
- Perform data profiling and quality measurement (SSIS DQS or equivalent).
- Model data flows warehouses and data marts.
- Collaborate on projects involving Microsoft Azure and Power Platform.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
- Reside in the province of Quebec.
- Already legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Comfortable communicating in French.
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology (Computer Science Software Engineering or Computer Engineering). For diplomas obtained outside Quebec: provide proof of equivalency issued by MIFI.
- Minimum 10 years in IT including at least 6 years as a Data Architecture Consultant (ETL SSIS relational/multidimensional and physical modeling).
- Minimum 5 years with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or later SSMS SSIS SSRS T-SQL and data profiling (SSIS DQS or equivalent).
- Minimum 4 years in data flow modeling data warehouses or data marts.
- Experience as a Data Architecture Consultant in at least two large-scale projects (2000 person-days) with a personal contribution of at least 150 person-days.
