Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to support and maintain the companys Approved Purchasing System in a U.S. Government subcontracting environment. The Compliance Analyst will ensure all purchasing activities adhere to FAR and DFARS prime contract flow-down requirements public law and company policies. This role includes reviewing purchase orders and subcontracts for compliance generating metrics providing training and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of compliance experience in a government contracting environment a bachelors degree in business or related field and the ability to work collaboratively with procurement and program teams to maintain compliance readiness.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Purchasing System Compliance
- Support the management and continuous improvement of the companys Approved Purchasing System in accordance with FAR and DFARS requirements.
- Review purchase orders and subcontracts for compliance with applicable laws regulations and prime contract flow-down clauses.
- Conduct internal compliance reviews of procurement files and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Assist in developing updating and enforcing procurement policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with procurement staff to ensure compliance best practices are consistently applied.
- Metrics Training and Reporting
- Generate and maintain compliance metrics for management review.
- Support preparation of materials for Contractor Purchasing System Reviews (CPSR) or other government audits.
- Conduct or assist with compliance training for procurement and program staff.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation for audits and reporting requirements.
- Regulatory Adherence
- Ensure purchasing activities comply with FAR DFARS and other applicable regulations.
- Monitor changes in acquisition regulations and assist in communicating updates to relevant personnel.
Education Experience Licenses and Certifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of compliance experience in a government contracting environment.
- Knowledge of FAR and DFARS requirements and government subcontracting practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint) and procurement systems.
Skills and Abilities
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP).
- Experience with CPSR preparation and DCMA audits.
