We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Japanese Teacher to join our Languages team.

This role is central to fostering a love of language and culture while supporting students to develop the skills and confidence to engage in an interconnected world.
ABOUT YOU
As a Classroom Teacher at Sacred Heart College you bring a passion for learning and a commitment to nurturing the whole student. You understand the importance of inclusive engaging contemporary teaching practices and value strong relationships within a collaborative school community. Youre reflective open to growth and eager to contribute beyond the classroom supporting student wellbeing and engaging fully in College life.
Key responsibilities and qualities include:
- Designing and delivering engaging inclusive and accessible learning experiences
- Using student data to guide planning assessment and teaching practice
- Embedding digital learning technologies and contemporary pedagogies to enhance learning
- Supporting the development and wellbeing of the whole student
- Building strong partnerships with students families and colleagues
- Participating in co-curricular activities and College events
- Embracing professional learning and reflection as part of your practice
You will also:
- Hold current VIT registration
- Ideally have accreditation to teach in a Catholic school and/or to teach Religious Education (please indicate in your application if applicable)
CLASSIFICATION
This position is covered under the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 Teacher Salary T1-1 to 2-6.
