Filinvest Hotel: TIMBERLAND HIGHLANDS RESORT
In accordance with the policies procedure and standards of Chroma Hospitality Inc. and Timberland Highlands Resort Rizal and under the direct supervision of the Chef de Partie this position is responsible for coordinating supervising and participating in the preparation within the assigned Kitchen ensuring that the quality of work conforms with the standards set by the Executive Chef.
- Monitors food preparation presentation and timing in accordance with standard recipes.
- Monitors Senior Chefs orders.
- Controls the food dispense area during meal periods.
- Assists in food preparation as needed or as required.
- Analyses customer feedback on food quality and serving timings.
- Coordinates with Restaurant Supervisor regarding customer questionnaire analysis.
- Meets customers whenever possible.
- Practices maximum flexibility and creativity when dealing with special customers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree in Culinary Arts Hotel & Restaurant Management or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Demi Chef or in a similar culinary role preferably in a hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation cooking techniques and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Team player with good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions from senior chefs.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to work in San Mateo Rizal.
