Job Description
We are pleased to be assisting our client in the search for a professional and customer-focused Bar Attendant. This role requires an individual with proven experience in a 5-star environment excellent knowledge of beverages and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
Responsibilities

Welcome serve and bid farewell to all clients.

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages snacks and food items.

Assess customer needs and make recommendations.
-
Interact with guests and conduct follow-ups to ensure satisfaction.
-
Handle payments accurately.
-
Open and close the bar area.
-
Restock and replenish inventory.
-
Maintain knowledge of beverage lists and menus.
-
Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of the work area.

Report complaints comments or breakages.

Place internal orders from Main Stores.

Dispose of waste correctly.

Perform additional tasks as required.
Requirements
-
Proven experience in a 5-star environment.
-
Strong knowledge of spirits wines cocktails coffee tea and other beverages.

Ability to work under pressure.

Excellent guest service and communication skills.

Flexibility to work in shifts.
-
Attention to detail with a positive professional attitude.
-
Strong English language skills (spoken and written).
-
Hands-on experience with cash handling and ideally Micros Simphony POS.
-
Valid local Food Handling License in accordance with the Food Safety Commission of Malta.
