Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Digital Printer / Finisher on behalf of a well-established business within the print and events industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous digital print experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and producing high-quality printed materials for a wide range of projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining large-format digital printing and finishing equipment ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and within strict deadlines.
Duties
- Schedule and prepare print files to meet customer deadlines.
- Check artwork for accuracy resolving errors using Adobe software.
- Support Project Managers with graphics queries and produce layouts when required.
- Use RIP software to process artwork for output to printers.
- Operate digital printing equipment efficiently minimising downtime.
- Manage and store print media materials.
- Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
- Complete job sheets and accurately record production data.
- Operate cutting trimming laminating and edging equipment.
- Apply vinyl to stand components or onsite builds where required.
- Prepare and package completed printed materials for dispatch.
- Perform quality checks to ensure all output meets customer and business standards.
- Support the wider team during busy event periods.
The Candidate
- Previous experience in digital printing and finishing (large format preferred).
- A strong eye for detail with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Practical hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills.
- Organised and methodical able to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Committed to maintaining safety and quality standards at all times.
Desirable:
- Experience within events or exhibition graphics.
- Manual handling training or experience working at height.
