DVS is actively seeking a .NET Developer - Intermediate to support our team onsite in Huntsville AL. This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Under direct supervision candidate will perform full lifecycle application development designing coding and debugging applications in various software languages.
• Will also provide support in requirements analysis software review identification of code metrics system risk analysis and software reliability analysis.
• Must be familiar with: Front end graphical user interface design Software testing and quality assurance Performance tuning and improvement.
• Displays the ability and creativity to analyze problems and implement advanced software solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Full lifecycle application development
• Designing coding and debugging applications in various software languages (current version of Visual Studio using C# with some client-side JavaScript and jQuery with jQuery-UI).
• Software analysis code analysis requirements analysis software review identification of code metrics system risk analysis software reliability analysis
• Familiar with relational database concepts including: table design proper indexing and use of stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD)
• Front end graphical user interface design using Web Forms technology.
• Software testing and quality assurance
• Support maintain and document software functionality
• Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
• Maintain standards compliance
• Implement localization or globalization of software

Physical and Mental Qualifications:

• Maintain focus and awareness throughout scheduled working hours.
• Perform tasks requiring prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk utilizing a computer mouse and keyboard.
• Lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds as needed.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
• Quickly learn and retain routine tasks and processes.
• Possess strong organizational skills attention to detail business correspondence proficiency and self-management capabilities.
