Arrow Service Team is looking for a full-time Painter to join our restoration team!
Arrow Service Team is the leader in the disaster restoration industry in North Dakota based out of Bismarck North Dakota. A restoration painter is scheduled to work on a variety of different projects at different locations throughout the workweek. What makes working at Arrow so unique is the work itself in that it entails restoring a property (or parts of a property) back to its pre-state pre-loss condition and look rather than constructing a new property. The size of the jobs depends on how much and where the damage took place. Jobs range from small to large. Our restoration painters primarily work on painting the interior of residential homes or commercial properties. Time is also scheduled at the shop for staining and/or painting trim packs cabinets and doors readying building materials for installation.
Restoration Painters use company vans at the shop to get to and from assigned job locations. Most work is done in a team environment. As Arrows footprint extends beyond the Bismarck/Mandan area travel is often required. On occasions overnights are these situations Arrow pays for the hotel and a nightly per diem is provided.
If you take pride in your finished work this is the job for you! We handle a wide variety of restoration jobs. If you are newer to the profession or have experience in this line of work we have a team of skilled carpenters ready to share their knowledge.
Training is fully paid and on-the-job with our experienced restoration team. Expected core training is 2 to 3 weeks but depends on overall this role youll be learning something new every day. Training and skill development is always ongoing.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Brushing rolling and spraying depending on job and material (for example: walls trim doors and jambs cabinets etc.).
- Mask fill holes and sand out imperfections.
- Complete jobs utilizing appropriate finishes and applications in adherence to the owners or property managers instructions.
- Cleaning of areas supplies and equipment at the completion of the project.
- Provide necessary documentation for work that is completed.
- Paint exterior and interior areas of residential and commercial buildings.
Experience and Skills:
- Ability to complete projects in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Individual must be familiar with techniques of painting and staining.
- Knowledge of painting material and how to select mix and apply.
- Painting experience (1 year(s) preferred).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Physical Demands:
- Lift (constantly) 5-15 lbs. lift (frequently) 15-40 lbs.
- May involve significant stand/walk/ push/pull.
- Consistent climbing (ladders scaffolding etc.) balancing crouching frequent stooping reaching kneeling and handling.
- Ability to work in confined spaces (occasional).
- Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild to moderate.
Pay:
- Starting at $20 - $25/hr. but negotiable depending on experience
- 90-day review (potential for wage adjustment if applicable)
- Annual reviews scheduled thereafter within department review cycle (potential for wage adjustment if applicable)

Schedule:
- 40 to 45 hours per week Monday through Friday typically 7:30am through 5pm. Occasional 6:30am starts to accommodate travel distance
- Occasional over-nights with hotel room paid and per diem provided
- Rotating on-call schedule for afterhours (after 5pm) emergencies which includes weekends
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
License/Certification:
- Valid Drivers License (required)
- Reliable transportation to get to and from office/shop
