The Morgan & Morgan Business Trial Group is seeking an associate attorney with 1-4 years of experience for itsOrlando offices to work in its commercial litigation department.
The position involves hands-on work with high-value complex cases including significant research and writing and frequent interaction with clients and senior attorneys. The attorney has the opportunity to take on increasing responsibilities including handling depositions hearings and participating in trials.
Our practice is unique as we solely represent victims of contract breaches professional negligence construction defects or other business misconduct and we only work on a contingency-fee basis. This means that our attorneys do not do busy work just to bill hours they work on substantive matters that will help our clients right serious wrongs. And we take far more cases to trial than other business lawyers winning about 90% of our jury verdicts.
The position includes competitive compensation (base salary plus annual bonus plus generation bonuses) comprehensive benefits meaningful and challenging work and no billable hours.
Candidates should have excellent research and writing skills interest in business litigation and be highly motivated.
