Job Summary

CDL Driver / Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Driver to join our operations team. This dual-role position includes transporting goods between facilities or to customers and assisting with warehouse functions such as loading/unloading inventory handling and maintaining an organized work environment. The CDL Driver plays a key role in supporting logistics warehouse operations and ensuring safe timely and efficient material handling.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate company trucks (Class A or B CDL) to deliver or pick up goods as scheduled.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and maintenance standards.
  • Secure cargo safely and ensure accurate documentation for all deliveries and pickups.
  • Follow all DOT and company safety protocols during transportation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams regarding schedules delays or issues.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks using pallet jacks forklifts or manual handling.
  • Verify and document shipments; maintain accuracy in inventory systems.
  • Support warehouse activities including storage cycle counts and general upkeep.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse layout.
  • Participate in safety meetings and required training.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL (Class A or B) with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification is a plus).
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and basic vehicle maintenance.
  • Reliable punctual and safety-focused.
  • Strong work ethic with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments in varying conditions.
  • Flexibility for early mornings evenings or occasional weekends based on delivery schedules.
