Job Title: Dental Assistant (VA Medical Center Dublin GA)

Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Salary: $18.10 $24.00/hour (based on experience)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center. This position supports both clinical and administrative dental services to ensure high-quality care for our veterans.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide chair-side assistance for general and specialty dental procedures (restorative prosthodontic surgical)
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments in accordance with procedural requirements
Assist during procedures by retracting tissue suctioning and passing instruments
Take and process digital radiographs
Follow strict infection control protocols and VA safety and privacy standards
Support the medical centers mission with a customer-focused respectful attitude toward patients staff visitors and volunteers
Work under the general supervision of the Dental Chief or designee
Must be available to work Monday through Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM with occasional Saturday shifts (8:00 AM 12:00 PM)
Qualifications:
No license required DANB certification is accepted but not mandatory
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to patient care
Prior dental assisting experience preferred especially in a clinical or VA setting
