Role Responsibilities:
- Implement care plans to improve patients physical abilities following the guidance of a Physical Therapist.
- Conduct follow-up visits and administer manual and non-manual therapeutic exercises.
- Assist patients in using assistive devices such as crutches canes and prosthetics.
- Instruct patients on wellness and health maintenance promoting an understanding of therapeutic regimens.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection-control protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and professional standards.
- Travel to patients homes as needed driving is required for this position.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in physical therapy.
- Minimum of one year of experience in home health as a physical therapist.
- Active state license to practice as a physical therapist assistant in compliance with professional standards.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Licensed driver with the ability to travel to various locations.
