Leicester
Permanent
Circa 13.50 - 14.00 per hour
Overview
EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for aPress / Forging Operatorto join a precision engineering company located in Leicester working on a permanent basis.
Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into all candidates must be UK residents and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

- Hours: Double Days (38 hour week) or Nights (35 hour week) shift allowance up to 23%

Your responsibilities include:
- Operating a hot forging press machine day to day to machine precision engineering components
- Self-inspecting own parts using manual measuring equipment to meet customer specifications
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Machininglarge batch sizes of small to medium-sized parts
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
- Strong experience within a machining role
- Able to set & operate machines
- Comfortable performing multiple set ups per day
- Knowledge of forging & press machines
- Confidence in performing self inspection of parts using manual measuring equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Worked with small to large batch sizes
