At Leidos Airborne Solutions Australia we do more than fly we safeguard borders and save lives. As a trusted partner to the Australian Government we lead critical airborne special missions from border surveillance to life-saving search-and-rescue operations covering over 10% of the Earths addition to our aviation bases across Australia and the Indian Ocean Territories we operate a 24/7 Operations Centre Systems Integration Lab and Mission Equipment Service Centre to ensure mission success. We collaborate with local SMEs to prototype and test advanced mission management systems integrating cutting-edge ISR technology.

Your New Role and Responsibilities
Leidos Airborne Solutions Australia have a great entry level opportunity to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our Cairns engineering base. As an Aircraft Ground Handler you will play a key role in maintaining safety efficiency and base upkeep. Your responsibilities will include
- Assist engineers with ground handling activities including wing walk and clearance when aircraft are being moved connect and disconnect power units and air conditioning units and compressor wash engines.
- Clean aircraft interiors and exteriors.
- Liaise with external suppliers in relation to vehicle and facilities repairs and maintenance.
- Inspecting ground servicing equipment raising repair orders inspecting and receipting tooling post repair.
- General base upkeep and stores support
