Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assess and triage patients presenting to the emergency room.
- Provide direct patient care including administering medications wound care and IV therapy.
- Monitor patient vital signs and conditions and communicate changes promptly to the medical team.
- Collaborate with physicians nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document all nursing care and patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records.
- Educate patients and families regarding care treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Adhere to hospital policies procedures and safety protocols.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.
Required Requirements:
- Current and valid RN license in the state of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working in an Emergency Room setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
