Job Description

Travel RN Emergency Room (Contract Role)
Location: Culver City CA 90232
Shift: 12-hr Shift
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Pay: $2160 $2304; (Negotiable based on experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and triage patients presenting to the emergency room.
  • Provide direct patient care including administering medications wound care and IV therapy.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and conditions and communicate changes promptly to the medical team.
  • Collaborate with physicians nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Document all nursing care and patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records.
  • Educate patients and families regarding care treatment plans and discharge instructions.
  • Adhere to hospital policies procedures and safety protocols.
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.

Required Requirements:

  • Current and valid RN license in the state of California.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working in an Emergency Room setting.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
