Job Summary:
The Oracle ASCP Functional Consultant is responsible for leading the design configuration implementation and support of Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) modules within Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand supply chain planning needs and translating them into effective Oracle ASCP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead functional design and configuration of Oracle ASCP modules.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze supply chain planning requirements.
- Develop functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for customizations and integrations.
- Support ASCP planning cycles troubleshoot issues and optimize planning parameters.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
- Provide end-user training and create documentation.
- Participate in testing activities including unit integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure solutions align with Oracle best practices and compliance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle ASCP in EBS R12.2.4 or newer.
- Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes: MRP DRP S&OP forecasting.
- Experience with Oracle modules: Inventory BOM WIP Purchasing Order Management.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Ability to write and interpret functional specifications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional and global teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle certifications in Supply Chain or ASCP.
- Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with integration tools and middleware (e.g. Oracle SOA ODI).
- Masters degree in Business Administration Information Systems or related field.
