Job Description
Position: Advanced Technology Engineer
- 3-5 years of experience.
- An ideal candidate should have experience in Robotics including operation teaching maintenance and safety. Fanuc and UR preferred.
- Experience in PLC programming. Toyopuc and Omron preferred.
- Working to develop PLC/Robot programming for new technology solutions that contribute to better ways of meeting customer needs.
- Develop and implement plans to test technology solutions in a manufacturing setting while using all available tools and resources to meet current and forecast future customer needs.
- Develop Proof of Concept (PoC) testing plans to evaluate technology viability in lab and simulation environments
- Associates degree (or above) Maintenance Technology PLC/Robot Programming
- Project experience including manufacturing preparation and equipment deployment
- Proven experience in development of PLC based projects from creation to implementation in both hardware and programming.
- Experience in PLCs including program writing safety PLC logic. Toyopuc PLC preferred.
- Experience in Fanuc Kawasaki Universal Robot and Cobot experience.
- Experience designing experiments collecting and statistically analyzing data and interpreting results to provide data-driven recommendations.
- Experience deploying equipment including establishing RJ PFMEA and quality control plan.
- Experience deploying automotive production equipment.
- OSHA 10 Certification.
