This position is open to current Colorado residents only.
Please note: This recruitment may be used to fill multiple vacancies.
Please Note:This position currently works 100% remotely from home address and will be required to use a personal vehicle for frequenttravel to the CDHS office assigned agencies/facilities and other identified locations for the purpose of related primary job duties as assigned. This position may be required to complete overnight travel and infrequent extended travel within the State of Colorado. Work hours may vary based on the individual needs of the licensed providers.These arrangements are subject to change.
Preferred candidate will have at least five years of public or private sector experience related to Child Welfare Experience focus on investigations counseling and evaluating programs and interviewing children and adolescents
Graduate degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology Social Work Childhood Development Sociology or a closely related field of study
Experience providing direct care and/or mental health services
Demonstrated knowledge of child welfare policies and practices residential best practices standards and licensing regulations and statutes
Experience in supervising or administering programs focused on intake/child protection or child welfare
Skilled in interviewing children and adolescents
Experience in an advisory or consultative role
Proven ability to direct research analyze and report on complex issues
Outstanding skills and abilities in verbal and written communications; ability to adapt to a style to fit audiences of varying technical levels and at various levels within an organization in groups and individual settings
Demonstrated ability to establish collaborative partnerships and effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external customers and diverse public and private stakeholders
Demonstrated proficiency working collaboratively with internal teams national state and community partners
