SASD works collaboratively with schools colleges and autonomous institutes to ensure a seamless and enriching academic journey for all students.
This position sits with the Office of Information Knowledge and Library Services (OIKLS). It is responsible for the provision of seamless access to information resources and library services critical for the NTU communitys teaching and research needs. The successful candidate will report to the Team Lead of Academic Engagement in OIKLS.
We are looking for an individual with a working knowledge on systematic search and review as it relates to libraries and educational institutions exposure to library-faculty engagement activities and services as well as experience conducting library instructional workshops organizing seminars and providing reference services.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and integrate emerging frameworks and technologies to improve systematic search offerings including consultations and digital learning resources.
Develop and conduct workshops digital courses and outreach programmes to equip users with skills in systematic searching AI literacy and research methodologies.
Collaborate with faculty to align library services with teaching and research needs including curriculum integration and resource recommendations.
Organize seminars webinars and campaigns to raise awareness of library services and foster engagement across schools colleges and research centres.
Lead cross-functional projects to ensure high-quality service delivery and innovation.
Requirements:
Degree in any discipline with strong interdisciplinary subject knowledge and familiarity with research resources and methodologies. Candidates with a masters degree in information studies would have an added advantage.
At least 7 years of professional working experience in academic research or special libraries.
Proven experience in systematic search and review reference services and instructional outreach.
Proficient in data analytics AI literacy digital fluency and copyright legislation relevant to education and libraries.
Strong communication collaboration and project management skills with the ability to work independently and in teams.
Adaptable and committed to continuous learning in dynamic and complex environments.
