Do you want to contribute to the future of European space infrastructure As an Experienced DevOps Engineer within CGIs Space unit you will play a central role in enabling continuous delivery and operational excellence for some of Europes flagship programs including Galileo the global satellite navigation system.

Acting as both a technical referent and release manager you will ensure smooth integration delivery and deployment processes that meet the high standards required in mission-critical space systems.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable efficient and automated delivery of software solutions.
Act as Release Manager overseeing planning coordination and execution of releases ensuring minimal risk and smooth delivery.
Serve as a technical referent for DevOps practices providing guidance and support to development and operations teams.
Implement and enforce SecDevOps principles integrating security into the development lifecycle to ensure compliance and robustness.
Collaborate closely with architects developers testers and system engineers to streamline workflows and remove delivery bottlenecks.
Monitor troubleshoot and optimize build integration and deployment processes ensuring high availability and system reliability.
Support and coach teams in the use of DevOps tools and methodologies raising overall maturity within the organization.
Document processes pipelines and release practices ensuring traceability and compliance with space industry standards.
What Were Looking For
A Bachelors degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering Computer Science Telecommunications or a related technical field.
5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with proven achievements in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience acting as a release manager or coordinating releases in complex mission-critical environments.
Strong knowledge of automation containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI Docker Kubernetes Ansible Terraform).
Familiarity with monitoring logging and incident management tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK).
Experience or knowledge in SecDevOps practices embedding security into CI/CD pipelines and operational processes.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to act as a technical referent within an international cross-functional team.
Structured proactive and delivery-focused with a strong sense of ownership
Nice to Have
Experience working in European space programs such as Galileo Copernicus or similar.
Familiarity with ECSS standards or mission-critical system lifecycles.
Certifications such as AWS/Azure DevOps Engineer Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or SAFe DevOps Practitioner.
Previous collaboration with ESA EUSPA or other space industry stakeholders.
For this role all the work needs to be performed on-site at our CGI office with no hybrid working opportunities.
Please note that holding an EU passport is mandatory for obtaining an EU Personal Security Clearance which is part of our selection process.
