Job Summary:

Two Kings Casino is searching for an energetic attentive Beverage Server to join our team at. As a Beverage Server you will help create a great guest experience by providing excellent service and care in every interaction. You should be a skilled multitasker with a passion for customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and six (6) months experience in a similar position preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • Strong interactive skills and the ability to work independently are required.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic math skills with the ability to accurately total guest checks and count change
  • Must obtain their Serv-Safe food handler and alcohol certificate prior to starting at the casino.
  • Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws.
  • Dram Shop Act - Prohibiting the sale/service of alcohol to intoxicated guests.
  • Must adhere to all Catawba Gaming Commission regulations and guidelines.
  • Must adhere to performance standards company policies and procedures as they relate to the department.
  • Must have the ability to work flexible schedules including nights weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Catawba Gaming License.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work an alternate schedule as needed.
  • Ability to work in a loud fast-paced environment (may occasionally be exposed to secondhand cigarette smoke).

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; bend to open/use lower drawers or cabinetry; to talk hear and see. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl. Carry and balance full tray of beverages weighing up to-35 pounds. Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Constant standing walking bending reaching and repetitive to maneuver between tables and around corners. Visual acuity and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare bills. Ability to move between hot noisy and smoky conditions of bar and climate-controlled dining environment. Noise level may be moderate to high during busy times.
