About Position
- Perform Basic Design calculations & specification for Generator auxiliaries systems
- Checking of final manufacturing drawings and BoM coming from Product definition or Suppliers
Job Description
Role & Responsibilities
To understand the specification of the project product customer requirement Generator operating parameters and operating sequences of Hydro power plant
Design / Specification of Generator Instrumentation - for measuring temperature pressure flow Cabling and Terminal boxes Grounding system Condition monitoring equipment like Partial discharge Air gap monitoring Vibration Shaft current and Fire protection systems
Prepare P& IDs technical specifications and drawings specifying design requirements
Manage and execute work-packages with Product definition team
Working with suppliers for defining improving or cost out during design phase
Support to Supply chain during execution phase
Accountabilities
Execute with required Quality within budget and lead times specified
Measurement
On time delivery Quality Cost (components engg hours)
Qualifications
Educational Requirements: B. E. (Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation)
At least 3 years in design of Hydro Generator auxiliary systems. Total experience desired > 5 years
Experienced in understanding engineering requirements of Hydro Generator
Applied knowledge of Instrumentation and Electrical engg and standards
Experienced in preparing design specifications for components mentioned in responsibilities
Experienced in Design & Engineering Processes
Good level in MS Office Application
User Level SAP System PLM (CORELLA)
Experienced in CAD tools preferably AUTOCAD EPLAN and UG NX
Desired Skills
