Technical Project Manager
Engineering Project Manager
Our client an industry leading consumer products manufacturing company is seeking a Project Manager for a newly created position.
Responsibilities:
*Create and maintain comprehensive project plans including scope timelines resources budgets and risk mitigation strategies.
*Manage the full lifecycle of manufacturing and NPD projects from initiation through launch.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals track milestones and deliverables.
*Coordinate with suppliers vendors and contract manufacturers to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of required materials and components.
*Lead design reviews prototype evaluations and validation testing to ensure manufacturability and regulatory compliance.
*Apply best practices in project management continuous improvement and lean manufacturing throughout project execution.
*Provide ongoing project updates to stakeholders proactively addressing issues and potential risks.
*Maintain accurate and thorough project documentation such as specifications progress reports and change logs.
*Ensure adherence to all relevant quality and regulatory standards.
*Conduct post-project assessments to capture key learnings and enhance future project performance.
Requirements:
*5 years of project management experience in manufacturing or product development settings.
*Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or a related discipline; PMP certification is a plus.
*Proven ability to lead multiple projects concurrently in fast-paced deadline-driven environments
*In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes product lifecycle management and supply chain operations.
*Proficient with project management software such as MS Project Smartsheet or Jira.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience managing diverse stakeholders.
*Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards relevant to manufactured products.
