This full-time internship is designed to introduce students to the dynamic client-focused environment of Wealth Management at Scotiabank and provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute meaningfully to the business. This job posting covers multiple roles across various teams allowing applicants to be considered for several positions within Wealth Management through a single application.

Is this role right for you In this role you will:
Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of your respective areas while ensuring the adequacy adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations.
Provide customer service in accordance with Scotia Service Standards.
Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships systems and knowledge.
Provides exceptional customer service support on account opening related queries by remaining current and informed on existing and new industry regulations and firm policies and procedures.
Maintain client account integrity by performing sundry items as required.
Understand how the Banks risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Contribute to a high-performance inclusive work environment.
Provide coverage and support for other members of the team when needed.

You are enrolled in post-secondary education.
You enjoy being involved in extracurricular activities such as conferences clubs and competitions.
You are able to provide reliable and timely responses professionally to direct inquiries from advisors trading desk other broker/dealers various operations and support departments and management.
You have strong communication and organizational skills.
You have thorough business analysis analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
You have strong written and verbal skills required to prepare communications and interact effectively with other Bank departments and external parties.
You have excellent time management skills.
You have thorough PC skills including Excel Word PowerPoint.
