Job Summary
Tomlinson Environmental Services is seeking a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment to work as a Scale Operator at our Carp location. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate vehicle weighing ticketing and customer service contributing directly to the success of our operations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver courteous and professional service to customers and team members on-site and by phone.
- Operate the scale and tracking system to weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles.
- Maintain precise records ensure ticket data integrity and process payments (cash debit credit).
- Provide pricing information to residential customers over the phone.
- Monitor site access and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Communicate with the onsite team to direct traffic and ensure efficient operations
- Generate transaction reports reconcile payment records and prepare operational and customer reports.
- Collaborate with our Customer service department.
- Take on other duties as assigned to support site operations.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Office-style setting with independent responsibilities.
- Regular interaction with customers and resolution of inquiries or complaints.
- Weekend and statutory holiday availability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong computer literacy and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid drivers license and access to a personal vehicle.
