Job Description
Job Title: Associate Internal Communications
Job Location: Palm Bay Florida

Job Description:
- In this role you will be responsible for developing implementing and measuring internal communications that align with the vision and strategic direction of the IMS Business Segment. You will utilize various channels to effectively reach our internal audience. This position requires strong writing and editing skills a continuous improvement mindset and an interest in aerospace and defense.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate closely with the Internal Communications Senior Manager and broader Communications team to develop and execute internal communications strategies.
- Write edit and publish content across channels including emails newsletters videos intranet content digital signs and other print and digital marketing collateral.
- Develop and maintain key internal communication tools such as intranet pages SharePoint sites email distribution lists and editorial calendars.
- Manage the flow of communications across different areas of the business prioritizing timeliness and accuracy.
- Research and recommend communication trends tools and technology to support continuous improvement.
- Review refine and develop processes. Evaluate tools in partnership with corporate communications functional partners and business segments.
- Monitor and measure communication effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement based on feedback and data.
- Identify opportunities to drive employee engagement and strengthen company culture.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while adapting to changing priorities.
- Collaborate with marketing public relations and subject matter experts to gather information and insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Communications or related field with 0- 1 year of prior related experience.
- Strong communication writing editing and project management skills.
- Experience managing intranet platforms such as SharePoint or similar systems.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience in graphic design web design video production and/or event management.
- Experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry
