Leidos Defense Systems RF Systems Portfolio is seeking a Research Scientist to join our team of engineers analysts and scientists supporting advance radar system analysis in a high-fidelity modeling and simulation environment. Our expertise is setup test and evaluation of radar system performance using modeling and simulation of modern air defense systems.

Primary Responsibilities:
Modeling and Simulation testing and data analysis of radar systems
Analytical anchoring or tactical test data to M&S performance
General radar analysis and parametric studies
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Math Physics or other technical degree from an ABET-accredited institution plus 2-4 years relevant demonstrated performance in M&S activities or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Math Physics or other technical degree from an ABET-accredited institution with less than 2 years relevant demonstrated performance in M&S activities
Must be proficient in programming (Python preferably MATLAB etc.)
Must be a US citizen possess and able to maintain a DoD secret clearance or able to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance.
Must be a resident of Huntsville AL or willing to relocate to the North Alabama area.
Preferred Qualifications:
Radar/Air Defense Systems M&S Experience
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering Math Physics or other technical degrees from an ABET-accredited institution
Experience working in a Linux operating environment
Opportunities to travel for system test events can present themselves but no obligation to travel is present
