Job Description
Job Title: Systems Engineering Intern - Spring 2026
Job Locaiton: C3ISR Rockwall TX
C3ISR is a leading company in the field of Command Control Communications Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance. We are dedicated to providing innovative solutions and fostering a collaborative environment where students can gain hands-on experience and contribute to impactful projects.
We are seeking engineering co-ops to start in January 2026 who are technically oriented and eager to apply their skills in a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in Windows and Redhat Linux programming with bonus points for Arduino programming experience. Additionally candidates should possess Cisco-based networking skills and relevant certifications.
Job Description:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of software applications on Windows and Redhat Linux platforms.
- Contribute to networking projects including switch configuration and network security.
- Participate in AI-related projects and initiatives.
- Design and build computers and affiliated equipment.
- Utilize 3D printing technology for various engineering projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Document and present project progress and outcomes.
Education:
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Engineering.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in Windows and Redhat Linux programming.
- Basic understanding of Arduino programming (preferred).
- Strong networking skills with a focus on Cisco technologies.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA Network or Security.
- Experience in switch configuration.
- Hands-on experience in building and designing computers and affiliated equipment.
- Familiarity with 3D printing technology.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- AI experience.
- Additional certifications or coursework in related fields.
