This internship takes place at our global headquarters in Bloomington MN.

The Connected Solutions team is seeking an IoT intern to aid in the development and enhancement of Donaldsons iCue platform through automation and data validation. This intern will have the opportunity to collaborate with a global engineering team and industry experts on tasks to be performed. The internship includes exposure to current specialized technology systems and processes including IoT Databricks hardware and Cloud technologies.

Role Responsibilities:

• Gather data hosted in other systems (e.g. Oracle) and import it into Databricks automating with a Python script as able

• Perform testing on iCue Gateways and aid in building/extending automated testing Python scripts

• Review data and perform data cleanup automating via Python scripts or manual execution of SQL queries

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current sophomore/2nd year or junior/3rd year undergraduate enrolled in an accredited program pursuing a bachelors degree in computer science or a similar major

• Experience with Python programming

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Databricks.

• Experience with SQL

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Able to work independently

• Experience in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

Relocation: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Hourly Pay Range: $21.00 - 24.00 depending on projected undergraduate graduation date educational degree in progress and major of study upon time of hire.

• This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.
