Project: Digital platform in Saudi Arabia that helps users find and compare mortgage financing options.
Clients location: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a highly experienced team.
Timeline of cooperation: 3 months with high possibility of prolongation.
Working hours: approximately from 9-10 am Kyiv time.
Role Overview:
The Backend Engineer will be responsible for designing building and maintaining scalable backend systems to power the firms fintech infrastructure. The role involves building APIs managing databases and deploying cloud-native applications with a hands-on approach to development and experimentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend services (C# Core) and Entity Framework Core
Design and document robust RESTful APIs (including versioning and Swagger/OpenAPI)
Write and maintain unit and integration tests
Follow best practices in version control (Git) and secure scalable development
Collaborate closely with product and investment teams to align tech with business needs
Ideal Candidate Profile:
3 years of experience in backend development or a strong technical portfolio.
Proficiency PostgreSQL and cloud-native environments.
Basic understanding of Docker AWS and CI/CD workflows.
Passion for AI technologies and an eagerness to experiment and apply them in production.
Strong understanding of software development best practices including testing and security.
Startup mindset with the ability to work in fast-paced dynamic environments.
Bonus if experienced in fintech or have built in early-stage startups.
