Job Summary

Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Extract clean and analyze data from various sources to support reporting and decision-making.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Perform data mining and statistical analysis to identify trends patterns and opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
Support data governance and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Automate data processes and reporting workflows where possible.
Document data definitions processes and reporting standards for internal use.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging tools in data analytics.
Provide training or guidance to team members on data tools and reporting techniques.
Participate in system upgrades or data migration projects as a data SME (Subject Matter Expert).
Work closely with IT to ensure data infrastructure supports analytical needs.

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree in Data Science Statistics Computer Science Business Analytics or related field.

Skills

Fresh graduates are welcome too. 1-3 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role is a plus.
Proficiency in Excel SQL and at least one programming language (e.g. Python or R).
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with supply chain or IT data is a plus.
Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
