Come join the team at HCI Sports & Fitness! As a premier sports and fitness center located in Bee Cave our team is in search of dedicated and enthusiastic Homeschool PE Coach to join our growing team! If you enjoy working with children and have a passion for sports fitness or just staying active then this position is for you!
Requirements
In joining our team youll be responsible for:
- Leading groups of children through various physical fitness games activities and sports during our Homeschool PE and Sports programs
- Fostering teamwork sportsmanship and a love for physical activity among students
- Ensuring activities are highly energetic fun safe and create a positive overall experience for participants and parents
- Following provided curriculum plans to ensure Homeschool PE & Sports programming is meeting appropriate developmental milestones for all participants
- Assisting with the setup and cleanup of equipment and props used during programming
- Maintaining consistent and respectful communication with program participants parents/guardians and HCI staff
- Adhering to safety standards and rules while providing appropriate supervision for participants

To be a great fit youll have:
- Experience working with children ages 5-12 preferably in a coaching or educational setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying skill levels
- Dependability punctuality and the ability to work independently
- Patience positivity and must enjoy working with children
Scheduling Requirements:
- Must be available to work part-time hours on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays during the school year for Homeschool PE and Homeschool Sports. Shifts are Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:45 am - 1:15 pm and Wednesdays 10:15 am - 2:15 pm; additional shifts are available in other youth programming
What youll get as a member of our team:
- Competitive pay based on background and expertise: Coaches with 2 years of experience in youth sports recreation or physical education may qualify as a Lead Coach at $18-20 per hour; Assistant Coach rates range from $15-17 per hour; compensation based on experience
