Middle Strong/Senior Manual QC Engineer

N-iX is looking for a Middle Strong/Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the BA team and developers to understand requirements and identify areas of testing.
• Participate in test plan creation test case design and continuous improvement of the automation testing process.
• Verify acceptance criteria and enrich them
• Execute testing to identify defects and ensure the functionality and performance of our software applications is working properly.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
• Perform test data preparation.
• Contribute to the enhancement of test automation frameworks and infrastructure.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational challenges and bottlenecks.
• Stay updated with the latest trends tools and best practices in quality assurance.
• Gather testing metrics

Qualifications and Skills:

• 4 years of overall QA experience
• Need to have backend testing experience (API testing hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL/Postgree etc.))
• Experience with bug tracking (Jira) and test management tools - TestRail or similar)
• Extensive DB knowledge (JOINs aggregate functions types of relations)
• Experience with Kafka is strongly preferred
• Application log tracing and troubleshooting (Datadog ELK or similar)
• Experience with Postman Swagger (for API testing and documentation)
• Experience with Android SDK (mobile testing)
• Experience working with AWS will be a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles methodologies and best practices.
• Proficiency in designing and executing manual test cases test scenarios and test plans.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail with the ability to identify and document defects accurately.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities capable of working effectively in a team environment.
• At least an Intermediate strong level of English
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
