Job Description Nursery Teacher (EYFS Curriculum)
Location: Qatar
Position: Nursery Teacher
Reporting to: Nursery Manager / Principal
Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Nursery Teacher to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning implementing and delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework. The Nursery Teacher will create a safe nurturing and stimulating learning environment that fosters childrens growth curiosity and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching & Learning
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons and activities in line with the EYFS curriculum.
- Support childrens development across the seven areas of learning:

- Use play-based and inquiry-led approaches to encourage exploration and creativity.
- Differentiate activities to meet the needs of children with varying abilities backgrounds and learning styles.
- Track and document childrens progress through observations assessments and learning journals.
- Provide regular feedback to parents about childrens achievements and areas of development.
- Child Welfare & Safeguarding
- Ensure a safe secure and inclusive environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of all children.
- Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies reporting concerns promptly.
- Support children in developing positive social skills independence and self-confidence.
Classroom & Resource Management
- Organize and maintain a stimulating classroom environment with age-appropriate learning materials displays and resources.
- Integrate ICT and other modern teaching resources into daily activities.
- Encourage tidy-up routines and care for shared resources.
Collaboration & Professionalism
- Work collaboratively with colleagues teaching assistants and management to deliver a consistent and high-quality learning experience.
- Communicate effectively with parents through meetings reports and workshops.
- Participate in staff meetings training sessions and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to school events celebrations and community activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education Education or a related field (mandatory).
- A recognized teaching qualification in EYFS (e.g. CACHE Level 3 Montessori Diploma PGCE in Early Years or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in an EYFS setting preferably in an international or Middle Eastern context.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood pedagogy.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not required.
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
