About the Role
InkBridge Networks is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer who thrives on designing building and deploying complex and mission-critical network ecosystems. We work with some of the world s most recognized organizations including AT&T Goldman Sachs and Vodafone to build infrastructure that simply cannot fail.
In this role you ll focus on deploying robust high-performance and highly available infrastructure across multiple geographic sites systems that serve millions of users and require zero downtime.

What You ll Do
- Design build and deploy custom network infrastructure for ISPs and global enterprises
- Architect systems for high availability load balancing failover and multi-site synchronization
- Work directly with customers to understand their technical challenges and deliver tailored solutions
- Build the ecosystems around FreeRADIUS including databases authentication services and infrastructure automation
- Collaborate with a global team in a low-bureaucracy engineering-driven environment
What We re Looking For
We value technical depth strong communication and ownership mindset. You ll need to demonstrate:
- 10 years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with large-scale network deployments and infrastructure automation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Required technologies:
- SaltStack
- Terraform
- Git & GitHub Actions
- vSphere or similar virtualization platforms (e.g. VirtualBox Docker)
- A modern programming language (Python Lua etc. anything but JavaScript)
- Shell scripting in a Unix environment
- CI/CD practices
- General networking knowledge (Layers 2 4)
Nice to have / Desirable knowledge:
- LDAP (scopes and filters)
- SQL (PostgreSQL MySQL)
- Redis or equivalents
- RADIUS and FreeRADIUS
- 802.1X EAP variants (TLS TTLS PEAP SIM AKA)
- VPN and security protocols (IKEv2 IPSEC WireGuard)
- X.509 PKI
- Kafka
- DHCPv4/DHCPv6
- VRRP
- DNS
Note: Experience with FreeRADIUS is a plus but not required. Our work is often more about the ecosystem around it.
