Responsibilities:
- Supervise construction activities on-site to ensure project specifications quality standards and timelines are met.
- Direct and coordinate the work of construction workers and subcontractors ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Collaborate with architects engineers and other project stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and project progression.
- Inspect construction materials and tools to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- Monitor progress and prepare regular reports on project status including budget adherence and labor efficiency.
- Serve as a primary contact for on-site construction activities and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of work activities progress accidents and issues encountered on-site.
- Train and mentor junior staff promoting a culture of excellence and safety on the job site.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in construction management preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures safety standards and building codes.
- Excellent organizational leadership and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
- A valid construction supervisor license or equivalent will be an advantage.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction supervision or a related role.
- Experience managing large construction projects and leading diverse teams.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
