Job Description
Job Title: Psychologist - Medical Case Reviewer
Specialty: Clinical or Neuropsychology
Place of Work: Remote (U.S. only)
Duration: 6 months contract with a possibility of 6 months extension
License/Certifications: Active unrestricted U.S. Psychology license (PhD/PsyD)
Education: Doctoral degree in Psychology from accredited U.S. institution
Minimum Qualification/Experience: At least 5 years post-licensure clinical practice
Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret psychological and neuropsychological records related to VICP/CICP claims.
- Analyze testing results treatment histories and functional assessments to determine the impact of medical conditions.
- Write comprehensive and objective reports that summarize psychological findings for use in program evaluations.
- Identify inconsistencies or areas where further evaluation may be needed.
- Collaborate with other reviewers and maintain communication with program coordinators as necessary.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
