Job Description
Job Summary (Programmer Analyst 4 City of Richmond DIT Utilities Team):
- Provide web-based solutions and support for existing applications.
- Integrate applications as part of systems development primarily using Oracle (11g) PL-SQL and Unix Shell Scripting.
- Gather requirements and design/analysis for new and existing systems.
- Develop document and maintain technical specifications code implementation and support materials.
- Create and execute database queries for reporting and data analysis.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new and existing technologies.
- Collaborate with programming staff and end-users to analyze needs and develop innovative business applications for various city departments.
- Deliver excellent customer service in all interactions.
- Work on-site at least 3 days per week at the Richmond VA office; local candidates only.
