Job Description
HANA Cloud Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated HANA Cloud Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data modeling data extraction routines and advanced scripting to support complex business logic and calculations. You will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable data solutions on SAP HANA Cloud enabling real-time analytics and insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data models using SAP HANA Cloud (Calculation Views CDS Views etc.)
- Implement data extraction routines from various source systems (SAP and non-SAP)
- Develop and optimize SQLScript procedures/functions for complex business logic
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements
- Ensure data quality performance and scalability of HANA-based solutions
- Integrate HANA models with reporting tools (e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud Power BI)
- Maintain documentation and adhere to development standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data models and performance
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with SAP HANA Cloud development
- Strong proficiency in SQLScript data modeling and performance tuning
- Experience with ETL processes and data integration tools (e.g. SDI SLT)
- Familiarity with SAP BW S/4HANA or other SAP modules is a plus
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP HANA certification
- Experience with SAP BTP CAP or is a plus
- Knowledge of cloud architecture and data security best practices
