Tasks
Starting July 1 2025 we are looking for an analytically strong self-driven
Senior Software Engineer (QA Automation and Performance) 100%
who can develop complex test strategies with a high degree of independence while still integrating seamlessly into our team-oriented working practices especially in async collaboration. This position is fully remote in Europe.
As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in QA Automation and Performance you will be instrumental in building and maintaining the technical foundation that ensures our AI compliance platform delivers reliable high-performance solutions. Your primary focus will be ensuring overall quality developing and optimizing our AI evaluation suite and designing/implementing strategies to measure quality performance and compliance across our platform. You will also be responsible for persuasively presenting ideas and skillfully negotiating with various internal stakeholders.
Requirements
The right mindset to work in a startup environment is the most important attribute. Having the right toolset ready will help you even more:
- 5 years of experience in software engineering with at least 3 years focused on automation and performance engineering
- Strong experience with:
- Performance testing and optimization tools (JMeter k6s Locust or similar)
- Automated CI/CD pipelines and workflows
- Software development in Python JavaScript or similar languages
- Functional and Automated testing (manual unit integration and end-to-end)
- Infrastructure as Code and configuration management
- Monitoring and observability solutions
- Load testing and capacity planning
- Code quality tools and static analysis
- AI/ML system performance evaluation
- Additional experience with:
- Cloud performance optimization (preferably Azure)
- Automated end-to-end testing tools (Playwright Cypress Selenium or similar)
- API performance testing and optimization
- Automated reporting and dashboarding
- Regulatory compliance automation
- Scalability testing for enterprise applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI agent performance optimization
- Knowledge of AI governance and regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act NIST AI RMF)
- Azure DevOps certifications
- Experience with workflow automation systems
- Background in SaaS platform performance optimization
- Familiarity with security automation
