Role/ Department:
Our Fund Accounting department are seeking an enthusiastic professional to join our team in Basel. This is a dedicated 14 person team within the fund accounting department supporting alternative products mainly Private Equity Infrastructure and Real Estate but also Hedge Funds and Private Debt Products. Team and product range has experienced continuous growth over recent years and we are excited to now expand the team to further support our institutional clients including pension funds banks investment foundations etc.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
Reporting and administration services for Limited Partners / Investors as well as client specific reporting.
Processing of quarterly data / reporting and tracking of deadlines
Static fund data maintenance through reporting and contractual documents
Responding to client requests and regular contact and interaction with Asset Manager and other internal and external parties
Set Up of new products and implementation of new processes and workflows
Audit Liaison
Skills/ Qualifications:
Experience in fund administration and interest in middleoffice activities
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills as well as strong numeric flair
Excellent verbal/written communication skills are essential to effectively interact with clients and partners.
Fluency in German is required
The ability to work inclusively in a team environment as well as an individual contributor exhibiting initiative and flexibility to meet client expectations.
Ability to work effectively to multiple competing deadlines.
Very good knowledge of MS Office and ability to quickly learn new IT Applications
Accurate way of working good attention to detail
