RIC - Programmer Analyst 4 - DIT Utilities Team
HYBRID - at least 3 days/week ON-SITE. LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY!!!
Seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the position of Programmer Analyst 4 for the City of Richmond DIT Utilities team. Will be responsible for providing web-based solutions and support to existing applications. The candidate will also possess skills in requirements gathering application design software development documentation and customer service.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Application integration as a core function of systems development to include experience and knowledge of designing developing and supporting applications using the following technologies:
1. Oracle database (11g and above)
2. PL-SQL
3. Unix Shell Scripting
Documenting work to be performed. (i.e. requirements gathering design/analysis technical specifications code implementation and support).
Developing and executing database queries to generate reports and aid in data analysis.
Learning different technologies both currently in use and new.
Working directly with programming staff and users to analyze and develop innovative applications for improving business operations within various City of Richmond departments. This may also involve learning different technologies - both currently in use and new.
Required/Desired Skills Skill Required /Desired Amount of Experience Experience with Oracle database (11g and above) Required 7 Years Experience with PL-SQL Required 7 Years Experience with Unix Shell Scripting Required 7 Years experience in requirements gathering analysis design software evaluation implementation planning and testing. Required 5 Years experience supporting additional languages such as Java Required 3 Years experience supporting additional technologies/methodologies such as Oracle Forms (10g and above) SQL Server and web services/service oriented archit Required 3 Years experience working with a source control solution such as Revision Control System (RCS) or Team Foundation Server. (TFS) Required 3 Years experience working with reporting technologies such as Power BI SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) etc. Required 3 Years Questions No. Question Question1 Commonwealth of Virginia security policies prohibit the use of offshore IT contractors.
