IT Contracts and Licenses Manager Freelance Position in the Life Science Sector
Location: Ideally Barcelona Spain
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Until end of 2025
Utilisation: Freelance full-time

We are looking for a highly experienced IT Contracts and Licenses Manager to join our client in the Life Science sector. This freelance position focuses on the end-to-end management of IT contracts and software licenses ensuring compliance cost optimization and smooth collaboration with internal stakeholders.
What You Can Expect
YOU manage the renewal of all licenses and subscription contracts due before year-end
YOU ensure compliance and drive optimization through effective license management (SAM)
YOU lead initiatives to improve Software Asset Management processes and governance
YOU manage contracts for IT services both operational (Run) and project-based
YOU support cost control through budget planning and cost-saving initiatives
YOU maintain an accurate inventory of software assets and contracts
YOU collaborate closely with IT Legal Procurement and project teams
YOU generate regular reports on contract status compliance and license utilization
What You Offer
YOU bring strong leadership and organizational skills and know how to drive a team
YOU have proven experience managing IT contracts (subscriptions & services)
YOU have hands-on experience in Software Asset Management (SAM)
YOU are confident working cross-functionally with Legal Procurement and IT stakeholders
YOU are fluent in English
YOU ideally have experience in regulated industries
